A true throwback for any millennial girl who LOVED Mary Kate and Ashley films. This one was a favorite in my household growing up, and I can’t wait to share it with my kids this Halloween season. 9. Goosbumps

The last two movies on this list are better for older kids because they have scarier scenes than the rest of the films on this list. Goosebumps is a Halloween movie for families with preteens and teens. Jack Black brings levity and humor to this film while keeping up with the scary vibes. We showed this movie to our older boys last Halloween, and they enjoyed it.

The Tower of Terror is last on this list for two reasons. One, you can’t find it anywhere; you have to buy it on DVD. Two, it was one of the scariest movies I saw when I was little. This is another movie that would be great for older kids, such as preteens, for family movie night. This film is perfect for when you want a spooky ghost story for kids to watch.
