Why Should You Create 2026 Goals?

You should create goals for 2026 because setting goals is a way to choose what you need to work on this year. If you want to reduce your anxiety in 2026, maybe find a hobby or a relaxation routine to help. Setting goals and writing them down gives you a clear view of what you want to accomplish.

You can also write down how you plan to achieve your 2026 goals, breaking them down into smaller steps so they don’t seem too overwhelming. Thinking of your goals in steps rather than a whole staircase can make it seem less challenging.

Goals are a great way to hold yourself accountable, especially if you share them with people. One of the reasons why I accomplish most of my goals in a year is because I share them with all of you. Also, I make monthly goals and chick in each month to let you all know how
I’m doing. This motivates me to continue to work on my goals.

My Yearly Goals for 2026

First. I’m going to start with my goals for this blog. I’m going to publish 100 blog posts in 2026. My second goal is to reach 1,000 email subscribers. Lastly, I want to start earning more money from this blog.

My reading goals for 2026 are to read 150 books, with at least half of those being physical books. Another goal is to get my NetGalley rating up to 80%. My last goal is to have only 20 books on my physical TBR cart by the end of 2026.

Some of my random life goals are to organize and declutter one room of my house for each month, to learn how to knit, and to spend one day a month doing a family fun day. A family fun day is when we spend one day a month doing something as a family. Whether it is going somewhere or doing something at our house together.
