The other day I stumbled upon a quote that hit me hard. It said, “Happiness is a choice that requires effort at times.” It’s such a simple quote. Happiness is a choice! We can see the good in our lives or focus on the bad. Then I thought about how it takes about 30 days to break a habit. You need thirty days to shift your mindset positively. Enter this 30 Days of Happiness Challenge!

I’m a big fan of challenges and anything with a list. I love checking off everything to do, especially in a 30-day challenge. This challenge is created to push you to see that the tinniest things can mean progress and how simple actions can make your days brighter. Check out the challenge below. Why Do This Happiness Challenge?

Happiness is a choice that requires effort at times.

One of the main reasons to try this happiness challenge is to improve your mindset positively. When we do things, even the simplest things, to change our lives we end up feeling a lot better about ourselves. I love this challenge because some days are about making yourself happy and other days you are making someone’s day a little better. One day you might treat yourself to your favorite snack and another day you will compliment a stranger. Sometimes making someone else feel better can make us feel better too.

By the end of this challenge I hope you are feeling a little bit better about your life, and yourself, and have a more positive mindset.

30 Days of Happiness Challenge Breakdown

Day One: Journal for at least 15 minutes. Write about your dreams, your goals for this challenge, or things you are grateful for.

Day Two: Go for a walk outside.

Challenge Day Three: Treat yourself to your favorite drink.

Day Four: Bake cookies for someone.

Day Five: Wear comfy clothes all day!

Challenge Day Six: Take a day off social media.

Day Seven: Dance to your favorite song.

Day Eight: Cook your favorite meal.

Challenge Day Nine: Give a compliment to a stranger.

Day Ten: Do a “Touristy” thing in your town.

Day Eleven: Wear your favorite color.

Challenge Day Twelve: Find an easy and fun DIY project to do.

Day Thirteen: Write a note for someone special.

Day Fourteen: Donate to a charity of your choice.

Challenge Day Fifteen: Give Flowers to yourself or someone else.
