Goodbye November 2024! It was a great time and I’m so looking forward to December. But first, I must check in with my goals and let you know how my month went. I love writing these posts because they hold me accountable and motivate me to accomplish my goals for the year. It also makes me really see what’s working and what’s not.
November 2024 Books I Read
November 2024 was a calmer month in terms of reading. I normally read about 12 books a month, but this month, I read 9. I’m still very proud of myself because I accomplished my goal of reading 125 books this year! Now it’s time to start thinking about my new number for next year. Should I add some more books to the goal or stick with 125?

Random Happenings This Month
November was a busy month! We celebrated JT’s birthday with some of his friends. Then the next day we celebrated my 33rd birthday and we watched the Packers beat the Bears! Then I went on a trip with my parents, sisters, and brother-in-law to California for my cousin’s wedding. The next day we went to
Vegas with some family. Then back home to my kids and Luke. It was a lot of fun! Lastly, we celebrated Thanksgiving with Luke’s family. I ended November with a grateful heart. I’m ready to chill this December and make some great Christmas memories for my kids.
December Goals
My goals for December are very light because, since I accomplished most of my goals for the year, I want to take it easy and enjoy the holiday season. I’m not a fan of this time of year but I’m trying for the kids. I want them to make some great memories this season.
Some of my goals for December are to finish books I started earlier this year, to read some holiday-themed books, and to get my TBR pile ready for next year.
Other goals I have for December are to publish 5 blog posts, respond to comments within 24 hours, and update old content.
Lastly, I want to decide what my goals for 2025 are going to be and prepare to share them with you.
