Another month is over and I’m recapping how my September 2024 goals went. Here are all the books I read and the blog posts I published.
Wake me up when September ends! It’s officially October and it’s time for one of my favorite monthly activities: recapping my previous month and checking in with my goals. I love doing this because it holds me accountable and seeing how many goals I am crushing and what I need to work on. Here’s how my September 2024 went and all the goals I accomplished.

Books I Read in September 2024
This month I read 13 books and I’m very proud of myself. Last month I read 17 but that was a fluke! I’m trying to read more of my physical books on my TBR (To Be Read) pile. I’m also trying to read and review some NetGalley books on the blog. I gave 5 stars to a few books, and I hope you check them out because I thoroughly enjoyed them. My top book of September 2024 is Happily Never After by Lynn Painter. If you are interested in any of the books below, click the title to check them out on Amazon.
My blogging goal for September was to publish 4 blog posts and I accomplished this goal. I’m so proud of how I continued to publish blog posts and have become more consistent in my blogging pursuits. I also enjoy just sharing tips, thoughts, and recipes. Also, I’m very excited about my first-ever NetGalley review on the blog! I will be posting a book review every other Monday. I hope you’ve enjoyed all the blog posts I’ve shared. Here’s the list of my September blog posts:
I have some sad news to share with all of you but our garden died. I’m very disappointed in myself because I didn’t water them as consistently as I did during the first few months. I’m going to blame school starting and I didn’t go out there in the mornings to water. But I’m very happy with all the veggies my little garden produced. I made a goal of receiving 3 veggies/fruits from each plant and we accomplished that goal! So I’m sad the garden died because of my neglect but I’m still proud of my first try at having a garden.
October Goals
As we enter a new month I’m creating some goals for October that I hope to accomplish. One goal for October is to read 6 physical books on my TBR list. Another goal is to read a bunch of thrillers and mysteries for all the spooky October vibes. Lastly, I would like to post two book reviews to NetGalley this month.
My blogging goals are to publish at least 5 blog posts, publish them every Wednesday, respond to comments on the blog by the next day, and increase my email subscribers. You can do so below or at the bottom of this page if you aren’t subscribed to my blog. If you subscribe you will get weekly updates on blog posts every Friday.
Final Thoguhts
Well, I don’t know about you but I’m very happy with how close I am to accomplishing my yearly goals. This is perfect because the last few months of the year I can slack off and take it easy. I had a great September 2024 where I read 13 awesome books, published 4 blog posts, and let my garden die (whoops).
Now it’s your turn, let me know how your September went. Did you accomplish any monthly goals? Did you falter at all this month? What are your goals for October? What do you hope to accomplish in the last few months of the year? Tell me in the comments below.
Lastly, don’t forget to share this post if you enjoyed reading it. I appreciate all the love and support.
Well done getting your September goals done. 13 books is an amazing amount of reading! It’s a shame your garden died but at least you got a lot out of it before that happened. September can be chaotic, especially with school starting. I had a wonderfully lazy September, with lots of video game time and a decent chunk of reading, which is exactly what I had planned.
Very inspirational post. It’s great that you are punching down your goals one day at a time. I have fallen off the wagon with my reading book goals, but your post has inspired me to get back on track. Thanks for sharing.
I’m sorry about your garden…but there’s always next year 🙏🏻 I’m amazed at how many books you read in September and in August, as well! You inspire me to change my goal of a book a month to 3-5! I used to love reading but never can find the time. I just joined a book club for the first time which I’m excited about! I love this recap/goal post too, by the way! Good way to hold yourself accountable.

Thanks! I know I’m bummed about my garden but I think I did pretty well for my first year. I’m glad you had a great month too!
