If your child says, “I’m bored.” Here’s a list of 22 summer activities you can suggest they do to have some fun and use their imagination.
I swear if I hear, “Mom, I’m bored!” Again, I might lose my mind! We are in the thick of summer, and my kids are starting to get stir crazy. So, I created this list of summer activities that you can suggest to your child to do when they are bored. It’s full of indoor and outdoor activities. Most of these are things they can do by themselves, but some require supervision.
Sometimes children need to be bored. When children are bored, they can come up with incredible ideas to pass the time. If your child struggles to come up with ideas, I have made this list to help you. This list is full of suggestions you can give to your child.
Some summer activities on this list are for older children. Make sure you read this list and see what your child can or can’t do. If your child can’t ride a bike by themselves, then you shouldn’t suggest that they go on a bike ride. You can suggest something easier, like going on a walk together.
