We are officially done with the second month of 2025! Here are my February 2025 goals, what I read, and my published blog posts.

This month has gone by rather quickly, at least compared to January. I have been focusing on accomplishing my 2025 goals and I feel like this month was a good month for me. It’s been a busy month but not to the point of burnout. In this post I’ll be sharing all the books I read, the blog posts I published, and the February 2025 goals I accomplished.

Books I Read in February 2025

My reading goals for February were to read 14 books, read 5 physical books on my TBR, and read a book for my monthly challenge. I read 5 physical books, I read The Vanishing Half for my monthly challenge (A book by a person of color), but I didn’t read 14 books.

  1. The Last Thing He Told Me by Laura Dave
  2. The Vanishing Half by Brit Bennett
  3. The Five Year Lie by Sarina Bowen
  4. The Seven Year Slip by Ashley Poston
  5. The Anti-Heroes by Jen Lancaster
  6. The Favorites by Layne Fargo
  7. You Are Not Alone by Sarah Pekkanen and Greer Hendricks
  8. Breaking the Dark by Lisa Jewell
  9. Daydream by Hannah Grace
  10. The Secrets of Us by Lucinda Berry
  11. When We Were Friends (Short Story) by Jane Green
  12. Holy Moments by Matthew Kelly
  13. Murder by Cheesecake by Rachel Ekstrom Courage

Lastly, my top book of February is The Favorites by Layne Fargo. This book is full of drama and the high stakes of Olympic skating. My suggestion is to listen to this book. The audio is spectacular!

Random Happenings

This month has been very busy! The kids are currently in basketball and so our time is filled with lugging the kids wherever their practices and games are. They are getting better and better everyday. We did has a little bit of sickness hit our house but luckily it was only one child.

Lately, the weather has been so nice that we are able to play outside. It’s muddy so my entry way needs a hose down! But the giggles I hear when the kids are running around is worth it.

One of my goals for this year was to declutter one room each month. February’s room was Luke’s and my bedroom. I deep cleaned the room, put away clothes sitting too long on my dresser, and went through the clothes in my closet. Now my bedroom isn’t so chaotic anymore.

Goals for the Month of March

My reading goals for March is to read 14 books, read at least 5 physical books off my TBR pile, and read a sports-romance book for my monthly reading challenge. Also, I want to publish three NetGalley book reviews this month. I’m hoping to publish more book reviews on the blog this month.

My blogging goals for March are to publish at least 6 blog posts, respond to comments within 2 days, send a newsletter every Friday, and gain more email subscribers.

Lastly, my random goals for March are to declutter Vivian’s room, journal at least ten times, focus on a new hobby to occupy my time, and start planning my garden.
