Crockpot Broccoli Cheddar Soup

freshly chopped broccoli

medium yellow onion (finely chopped)

carrots (peeled and grated)

all purpose flour

chicken broth

cups
half and half

cups
shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
Add broccoli, onions, carrots, salt, paprika, garlic powder, dry mustard (or regular mustard), and black pepper to the crockpot.
In a mixing bowl, whisk in flour and chicken broth until no lumps. Add to the crockpot.
Stir ingredients in the crockpot together, cover, and cook on LOW for 6-8 hours or HIGH for 3-4 hours.
About 30 minutes before you are ready to serve add the half and half and cheese. Stir together well.
Cover and continue cooking for 30 more minutes.
Blend with an immersion blender until your desired texture.
