September 2026 Wrap-Up: A Busy and Fun-Filled Month!

Sharing is caring!

September 2026 was a busy and fun-filled month with our trip to Disney. Since we were gone, I didn’t accomplish all my goals, but that’s ok!

Before we dive into my September 2026 wrap-up, I’m letting you know that I didn’t accomplish a lot of goals. Now, normally I would feel super discouraged about this, but the reason why I didn’t get a lot done was that we went to Disney for ten days. Sometimes there will be months where you don’t accomplish all your goals, and that’s ok! I spent time with my family in one of my favorite places. I made memories and had a great vacation. These things mean so much more to me than the books I read or the blog posts I publish.

Anyway, in this wrap-up, I’ll be sharing the blog posts I published, the books I read, and my goals for October. I hope you enjoy!

Blog Posts I Published in September 2026

My blogging goals for September 2026 were to publish 9 blog posts, send a blog newsletter every Friday, increase my views and visitors, and gain more email subscribers. I accomplished two of these goals. I planned to get ahead of my blog posts before we left for Disney, but the days slipped away. Unfortunately, I only published five blog posts this month. Here are the blog posts I published:

  1. August 2026 Wrap-Up: The End of Summer Fun
  2. Children of the Wolf by Abby Geni Book Review
  3. My Halloween Bucket List: 13 Awesome Activities to Make October Full of Fun!
  4. The Cozy Nook Bookshop by Jeannie Chin Book Review
  5. Great Bookish Essentials That Every Avid Reader Will Love!

The most viewed blog post of September was Buffalo Chicken Dip in Mini Crockpot: Spicy, Easy, and Tasty. I’m so excited because it has been a couple of months since I’ve had a new most-viewed blog post. This recipe deserves all the love and recognition during this season. This recipe is perfect for tailgating or football Sundays. It’s delicious and so easy to make.

Books I Read in September 2026

My reading goals for September were to read 15 books, with 5 being physical books, send 5 reviews to NetGalley, read books for my book clubs, and read a “banned” book for my monthly reading challenge. I only accomplished two of these five goals. I forgot how little reading I do when we go to Disney. It definitely affected my reading time. I’m still proud of all the reading I did this month, even though it was less than I was expecting.

  1. It Could Have Been Her by Lisa Jewell– 3.75 Stars
  2. Brave New World by Aldous Huxley– 3 Stars
  3. Every Time a Bell Rings by Emily St. James- 3 Stars
  4. Ready or Not by Cara Bastone– 3.5 Stars
  5. Hexes Go Well With Tequila by LeAnna Ehrsam– 4.25 Stars
  6. First Down by Grace Reilly– 2.75 Stars
  7. If it Makes You Happy by Julie Olivia– 4 Stars
  8. Strangers: A Memoir of Marriage by Belle Burden– 4.25 Stars
  9. My Violent Muse by Rosie Sycamore– 4.75 Stars
  10. Queen of Shadows by Sarah J. Maas– 4 Stars
  11. Getting Away With Murder by Shari Lapena- 3.25 Stars
  12. Get 20% off Your First Demon This Halloween by Michael D. A. Clarke– 4.25 Stars

My top book of September, and one I highly recommend, is My Violent Muse by Rosie Sycamore. I just posted my review of this book earlier this week. I think this book is perfect if you are looking for a thriller with feminine rage and revenge. Perfect for Halloween season.

Goals for October

My blogging goals for October are to publish 8 blog posts, send a newsletter every Friday, and get more email subscribers. I really want to focus on writing more blog posts a week or two ahead. Usually I’m finishing the blog posts the day of or the day before.

My reading goals for October are to read 15 books, with 5 of them being physical books, send 5 reviews to NetGalley, and read a science fiction book for my monthly reading challenge.
