Simple Baked Chicken Parmesan Recipe
This recipe is a "lazy dinner" idea that takes little setup, less than an hour to cook, and easy cleanup. This chicken parmesan is filling, full of flavor, and tastes amazing. It's perfect for a busy weeknight dinner.

- 1 Gallon Ziploc Bag
- 3-4 Chicken Breasts (Thinly Sliced)
- 1 egg
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 2 tsp Italian seasoning
- ¼ tsp cayenne pepper
- 2 cups breadcrumbs
- 1 jar spaghetti sauce
- shredded mozzarella cheese
- shredded parmesan cheese
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees
Add chicken and 1 egg to a gallon-sized ziplock bag. Smush the egg and chicken together in the bag.
Add salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, and cayenne pepper to the bag and mix well.
Add the breadcrumbs and mix everything in the bag once more.
Cover a baking sheet with tin foil and spray with cooking spray. Place chicken on foil and cover open spots on the chicken with the leftover breadcrumbs in the bag.
Bake for 15 minutes.
Remove the baking sheet from the oven. Cover chicken with pasta sauce (use as much or as little as you like), cover in mozzarella cheese, and cover in parmesan cheese.
Bake in the oven for another 15 minutes.
Remove from oven and serve!
