I decided to make a quick, easy dinner recipe I knew the kids would like. Enter this honey garlic chicken bites recipe. It is simple to make and tastes absolutely delicious! Ingredients for Honey Garlic Chicken Bites

  • About 4 boneless, skinless chicken breast
  • 1/4 cup of honey
  • 1/4 cup of soy sauce
  • 3 teaspoons of minced garlic
  • 2 tablespoons of rice vinegar (or apple cider vinegar)
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon of ground ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon of red pepper flakes
  • 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • 2 teaspoons of cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup of water
  • Sesame seeds and green onions for garnish (optional)

How To Make This Recipe

  1. Cut the chicken breasts into cubes and season with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook for about 7 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  3. Remove chicken and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and ground ginger. Cook for about 30 seconds.
  5. Add honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and red pepper flakes. Bring to a simmer.
  6. Add chicken to the skillet and cover in sauce. Cover skillet and cook for 5-7 minutes on medium heat.
  7. Add cornstarch and water to the skillet to make the sauce thicker. Cook for 2-3 more minutes stirring constantly.
  8. Remove from skillet and serve with rice or veggies. Enjoy!
