Another month, another set of goals to crush. Here are the blog posts I published, books I read, and goals I accomplished in August 2025.
August was a month full of getting back into the swing of things with school. This means I have had a lot more time to get some blog work done. Also, the kids are in soccer so I get some reading done during their practices. I love being back in a routine, and you can tell I’m thriving because I’m accomplishing most of the goals I set for August 2025.
Here are all the books I read, blog post I published, and my favorite things of August 2025. I hope you enjoy reading about my journey.

Blog Posts I Published This Month
Some of the blog goals I had set for August 2025 were to publish 6 blog posts, a book review post published every Monday, respond to comments on the blog within 24 hours, send newsletter every Friday, and get more email subscribers.
This month, I published eight blog posts with a book review every Monday, and I sent a newsletter every Friday. So, I accomplished those goals. But I didn’t respond to comments within 24 hours, and I didn’t get more email subscribers. I pretty proud of the goals I accomplished, but I’m going to work harder to get all my goals accomplished in September.
- Ruins by Amy Taylor NetGalley Book Review
- 22 Mom Affirmations to Make Your Days Better
- Through an Open Window By Pamela Terry Book Review
- Fall Books to Get You In a Cozy Mood
- Forget Me Not by Stacy Whitman

My August 2025 Favorites
This month, I’m going to share my favorite things I’ve been enjoying in August 2025. Below is the list, and I’ll attach a link to Amazon. I’ll explain why I love this stuff and what I use it for. I hope you enjoy my favorite things. Don’t forget to let me know in the comments what your favorite things are this month.
- Dutch oven – I use this to bake my sourdough loaves, for making some pasta sauce from scratch, and for making soup. I love this Dutch oven because it is super easy to clean.
- Easy Veggie Chopper– I just started using this about a week ago, and I’m obsessed. I love chopping up onions with this tool.
- Weekly Planner– I use this planner to write down all the things I need to do on that day. I use this to stay on track for my cleaning schedule and my blog.
- Edamame Snack Packs– I love these edamame snack packs, which are packed with protein and taste amazing. They offer a variety of flavors, but I prefer the sea salt.

Goals for September
My reading goals for September are to read 12 books, send 4 reviews to NetGalley, read 4 physical books off my TBR cart, and read a YA book for my monthly reading challenge. (If you want to know more, check out my monthly challenge: 2025 Monthly Reading Challenge (+ Free Printable!))
My blog goals for September are to publish 7 blog posts, publish a book review every Monday, send a newsletter every Friday, respond to comments within 24 hours, and get more email subscribers.
My random goals are to start knitting and make a washcloth, journal 5 times, and continue modifying my cleaning schedule so I can share it with you all soon.
