This cornbread casserole side dish is one I used to make all the time when I was first learning how to cook. I love how simple this recipe is to make and how delicious it is. It’s packed with the corn flavor and pairs perfectly with turkey.

Ingredients for Cornbread Casserole
- 1 large egg
- 1 cup of sour cream
- 1/2 stick of unsalted butter (melted)
- 1 box of Jiffy cornbread mix
- 1 Tablespoon sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- 1 (15 oz.) can of cream-style corn
- 1 (15 oz.) can of sweet corn (drained)
How To Make This Cornbread Casserole Recipe
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Spray a 2-quart casserole dish with cooking spray.
- Mix the egg, sour cream, butter, sugar, and salt in a mixing bowl.
- Fold in the corn.
- Pour the mixture into the casserole dish.
- Bake in the oven for 40-45 minutes. To test whether the casserole is ready, poke a toothpick into the cornbread casserole; if it comes out clean, then it’s fully cooked.
- Remove from oven and let cool for 5 minutes. Then serve and enjoy!
