I decided to make a quick, easy dinner recipe I knew the kids would like. Enter this honey garlic chicken bites recipe. It is simple to make and tastes absolutely delicious! Ingredients for Honey Garlic Chicken Bites
- About 4 boneless, skinless chicken breast
- 1/4 cup of honey
- 1/4 cup of soy sauce
- 3 teaspoons of minced garlic
- 2 tablespoons of rice vinegar (or apple cider vinegar)
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon of ground ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon of red pepper flakes
- 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- 2 teaspoons of cornstarch
- 1/4 cup of water
- Sesame seeds and green onions for garnish (optional)
How To Make This Recipe
- Cut the chicken breasts into cubes and season with salt and pepper.
- Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook for about 7 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Remove chicken and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and ground ginger. Cook for about 30 seconds.
- Add honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and red pepper flakes. Bring to a simmer.
- Add chicken to the skillet and cover in sauce. Cover skillet and cook for 5-7 minutes on medium heat.
- Add cornstarch and water to the skillet to make the sauce thicker. Cook for 2-3 more minutes stirring constantly.
- Remove from skillet and serve with rice or veggies. Enjoy!
