I have spent the last few years participating in a local 5K, and I have created the BEST running playlist for a 5K!
For the last four years, in July and early August, I train to run in the local 5K. I have curated a running playlist that is the best one ever! It’s mostly a mix of pop music and some punk. It reflects my personality. I love turning on this playlist and running. I hope you enjoy this amazing playlist!
One of the ways I train for the 5K is by doing my 5K Training in 30 Days (+ Free Printable). This prepares me so well for each race. I love using this program. It’s not too hard, but just hard enough to get your body ready for a 5K.

Quick Information on this Running Playlist
So, a few things you need to know about this playlist are that it’s full of girly pop songs. I’m a HUGE fan of girly pop, especially when I’m running. I make no apologies for my love of this type of music. There are some outliers, but the majority is fun pop music with a good beat. Speaking of beat, the main reason I have my running playlist is because I run to the beat. If you have a specific pace that you run at, you can always check out the running playlists on Spotify and find the beats that work for you. I love hitting my stride to a strong downbeat.
