My April 2025 goals were to read 14 books, with 6 of those books being physical copies, and a poetry book for my monthly book genre challenge. What Happened This Month

I’m sure by now you are wondering what “pains” I went through this month, and it’s been a rough one. The week of Easter, I woke up with an ear infection. It was a very nasty one that needed ear drops and antibiotics. I struggled to get my work done, get the house cleaned for Easter, and focus on what I was doing. Now, my ears aren’t infected, but I still have some fluid in my ears. It makes it hard to hear, and I’m suffering from vertigo. I’m hoping my ears drain soon, but I just need some patience (something I’m not the best at!).

Earlier this month, JT was in a production of The Newsies at the High School. I was very proud of the hard work and dedication JT had to the musical. We did have a great time at Easter, and the kids loved the Easter Egg Hunt we had in our basement. Right now I’m currently getting the house together for Cooper’s birthday party this weekend. I’m hoping May will be filled with more fun!

May Goals

May will be a month of fun rather than work. So my goals are a little bit more relaxed than in previous months. The three main goals of May are to celebrate Cooper’s birthday, celebrate JT’s First Holy Communion, and have a great vacation in Disney.

My blogging goals are to publish 6 blog posts, with three of those being book reviews, to respond to comments within two days, and send a newsletter every Friday.

My reading goals for May are to read about 10 books, read at least 4 physical books, read a book to fulfill my monthly book genre reading challenge, and to send three book reviews to NetGalley.

Lastly, I want to declutter and organize my kitchen and try to start the hobby of knitting.

Final Thoughts

Here’s to hoping May is a great month! I hope you all had great Aprils, and I hope you achieved your monthly goals. So, let me know in the comments below how your April went. Did you set goals for this month? Did you achieve your goals? What goals are you setting for May? I love hearing from all of you!

Lastly, if you enjoyed this post, don’t hesitate to share it on social media. I appreciate all the love and support.

Thanks for reading,

Kel
