2025 is officially over, and I’m sharing my 2025 goals wrap-up. I’m listing all the goals I set in January and how well I achieved them.
2025 was a really good year, and I’m sad to see it go. At the beginning of 2025, I set six goals for myself to accomplish throughout the year. Some of these were little goals to make my life better, and some were big goals that I wanted to accomplish. I’m very proud of myself because I accomplished three of the goals and made progress on two. This is my 2025 goals wrap-up, and I will be recapping how each goal went this year.

Goal One: Publish 52 Blog Posts
My first goal of 2025 was to publish 52 blog posts. I published 72 blog posts, and I’m very proud of myself! My goal was to consistently publish book reviews and blog posts for people to enjoy. One of the perks of writing so many blog posts was that I saw an increase in my email subscribers and my monthly views. In 2026, I will be pushing myself even harder to publish more blog posts.
Goal Two: Read 150 Books
My second goal of 2025 was to read 150 books. This year, I read 160 books, and it was quite a journey. I loved making my lists of the books I want to read each month and enjoying reading. Normally, I write the books that I read in the previous months, but this month I’m going to post my top books of 2025. Make sure to come back in a few weeks to see what books I loved!
Goal Three: Go On a Family Vacation
Goal number three of 2025 was to go on a family vacation with just my husband and my kids. This was one of the goals that I didn’t accomplish. We did go on a family vacation, but we were with my family. I’m really hoping to set aside a few days next year to go somewhere with just my family and make some memories.

Goal Four: Organize and Declutter One Room Each Month
Goal four of 2025 was to organize and declutter one room of my house for each month. I didn’t accomplish this goal either, but I was able to organize and declutter 5 rooms. My goal is to try this again in 2026 and hopefully make some strides in organizing and decluttering my house.
Goal Five: Start Journaling Regularly
Goal five of 2025 was to start journaling regularly. Well, I did start journaling, and I really enjoyed writing my thoughts down as a way of relieving some stress. The only thing I didn’t do was journal consistently. I was very sporadic with my journaling, but this next year I’m hoping to journal every week.
Goal Six: Expand My Garden
My final goal of 2025 was to expand my garden. This was a goal I accomplished. This year I planted 21 plants. This is 10 more than I planted last year. My garden really bloomed, and I enjoyed having some fresh veggies this summer. Some of my favorite things to make with my veggies were: spaghetti sauce from scratch, Caprese Avocado Toast, and Loaded Zucchini Bake.

Final Thoughts
This is one of my favorite posts of the year because while I love sharing my goals with all of you, I love showing you it’s fine that I didn’t accomplish all my goals. Officially, I accomplished half of my goals, and I’m very proud of myself. I love taking the goals from a previous year that didn’t work out and trying to accomplish them in the next year. I hope this inspires you to make goals for 2026 and be proud of what you accomplish.
