I’m sure you’re probably reading the title and thinking, “The BEST?! Yeah right!” Don’t get me wrong I totally understand your hesitation, but I’ve sampled a lot of crockpot cheesy potatoes and this is by far my favorite! This is the recipe I use when I’m in charge of a side dish for a family gathering. I use cheesy potatoes as the perfect side dish for any meat main I’m serving at game day. I love this recipe and I can’t get enough of it!
If you are wondering why I chose a side dish as my next recipe post then you must not be following me on Instagram! I asked my followers to vote on whether my next recipe should be a side dish or an instant pot recipe. 100% of my followers who voted, voted for a side dish! Talk Cheesy to Me!
I could talk all day about this recipe because it has my two favorite things: cheese and potatoes! Since I don’t have all day and I’m sure you don’t either why don’t I give you some tips and tricks for this recipe. If you aren’t already you should definitely try the slow cooker liners. They make clean up easier and you don’t have to worry about the cheese melting onto the sides. Another tip is that you can double this recipe and it will fit in your crockpot. I double it all the time when we have family gatherings. My last tip is that you can add chopped onions if you want a little bit more flavor. I personally don’t add it because Luke isn’t the biggest fan of onions.
I hope you enjoy this recipe and I can’t wait to hear what you pair it with! Thank you so much for reading. Don’t forget that sharing is caring and I appreciate any share on Pinterest or Facebook.
