A while ago I was craving some steak, but I wanted to try a new recipe. I decided to look up some easy and quick steak recipes that my family would enjoy. I found one for just steak and peppers, I showed it to Luke and said, “You know what would make this recipe better? CHEESE!” So, I ended up making this easy and delicious steak, peppers, and cheese recipe that my family DEVOURED!

Why Do I Love This Steak, Peppers, and Cheese Recipe?
There’s nothing I love more than when a recipe is simple, doesn’t take a long time to make, and it is delicious. This steak, peppers, and cheese recipe fits all three AND it also has my favorite aspect of any recipe; it only uses one pan! I love recipes that only use one pan because it’s less cleanup for me and I feel like it just makes a recipe a little bit easier to make and love. The pan in this case is a skillet and that’s all you really need for this recipe.

Ingredients
- 12 ounces of thinly sliced top round beef
- Salt and pepper
- 1 Tablespoon of minced garlic
- 2 Tablespoons of butter
- 1 red pepper, thinly sliced
- 1 orange pepper, thinly sliced
- 1 yellow pepper, thinly sliced
- 1/2 medium onion, thinly sliced
- 1 cup of shredded cheese (you can add more if you want!)
Directions
- Season the steak with the salt and pepper. In a large skillet, heat the 2 tablespoons of butter and minced garlic over medium-high heat. Add the steak to the skillet and cook until browned, about two minutes.
- Put the steak into a medium sized bowl. Then add the peppers and onion to the skillet, tossing them occasionally until they are tender. About 4 minutes.
- Push the peppers and onion to one side of the skillet and add the steak. Add the cheese and cook for about 2 more minutes.
- Remove the steak, peppers, and cheese from the skillet and put into a bowl. Serve and enjoy!
