Does anyone else have an obsession with Chipotle? I swear I could have Chipotle multiple times a week if my budget would allow it. My stomach wouldn’t really agree with that idea but my heart would be so full! When I say, “I love Chipotle” it is an understatement. I love the burrito bowls, the chips, the quesadillas, but mostly, the guacamole. It may be extra but it is definitely necessary!
After YEARS of going to chipotle and craving the guacamole, I finally decided to find the recipe and make it at home. Chipotle sent out an email a while ago with the exact recipe they use. I’ve made this multiple times for different parties and I get compliments on the guac. If you love guacamole and/or Chipotle you need to try this recipe!

- 2 Haas Avocadoes
- 1/4 Cup of chopped red onion
- 2 teaspoons of lime juice
- 2 Tablespoons of chopped cilantro
- 1/4 Teaspoon of salt
- 1/2 Jalapeno finely chopped (You can opt out of using jalapenos if you don’t want to. It’ll still taste amazing!)
Directions
- Cut the avocadoes in half, remove the pits and scoop the insides into a medium bowl.
- Pour in the lime juice and mash the avocadoes with a fork. Add the salt and mash until smooth.
- Add the rest of the ingredients and mix well.

Final Thoughts
Well, I’m sure you just read this amazing copycat Chipotle guacamole recipe and can’t believe just how simple it is! I promise you that once you start to make this recipe it will become an appetizer that you serve at every party you host. I hope you enjoy this guacamole recipe just as much as I do. Please remember to be extra like Chipotle Guac!
For those of you wondering, I don’t put any jalapenos in my guacamole. My husband and children aren’t huge fans of spicy foods. Also, I find it very tedious to prepare when I have other appetizers to prepare.
